Rachel Baldwin M.S., M.A., LGPC, CTP (She/Her)
Ebbs and Flows Healing is owned by Rachel Baldwin. Rachel obtained her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College, focusing in trauma, crisis, and complex disorders. Additionally, she received her Masters of Art in Clinical Psychology focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioral interventions, and neurobio-bases of disordered interventions. Since 2022, Rachel has worked in schools, hospitals, and residential facilities focusing on children to geriatric adults with Autism, ADHD, trauma, personality disorders, and family member support.
Her child focuses are in ADHD, autism, special education, anxiety, and trauma, while adults are complex trauma, attachment disorders, and first responders. Rachel’s goal as a counselor is to compassionately help you with processing, healing, and understanding your emotional, behavioral, psychological, and cultural self as a whole mind and body approach. She utilizes creative expressive therapy, humanistic, and positive-solution focus within a cognitive behavioral therapy approach. Creative expression incorporates developing artistic outlets, coping techniques, and life skills mindfulness.
Before joining the counseling field, Rachel worked in the music industry and special education system for over ten years. She received a B.M. in Music Education and French Horn Performance, with a minor in Psychology. She holds educational licensure in special education K-12, special education Autism, general music, and instrumental music. After 2019 Rachel returned to performing for soundtrack recordings, worked at psychiatric special needs schools teaching music, and led clubs for LGBTQIA+ Support Group and high violent student Coping Skills Group ages 9 to 25 years old. Rachel also volunteers at a Fire and EMS department advocating for mental health. Rachel is a mom, lives on a farm, owns a lot of animals, and enjoys painting.
